Know exactly what’s missing from every product.

SourcePIM (Product Information Management) adds a real content-operations layer on top of Magento’s catalog — completeness scoring per Attribute Set, a fast editable grid, category control with drag-and-drop, and a full audit trail of every change. Same login, same database, zero migration.

01 — THE GRID

A product grid built for editing at speed, not just looking.

Virtualized rendering keeps thousands of rows smooth. Edit name, price, status, or any attribute right in the cell — dropdowns included, saved the instant you pick a value. Reorder, hide, or add attribute columns per Attribute Set, and every column sorts, including the ones you added.

  • Inline editing for text, dropdown, and multiselect attributes
  • Per-row Completeness score, with a jump straight to Magento’s own editor
  • Bulk edit across a selection, with a before/after preview

02 — COMPLETENESS

Every gap, itemized — right where you’re already working.

Expand a row and SourcePIM tells you precisely which fields are pulling a product’s score down, grouped by Attribute Set rules you define once. Fix categories, media, and attributes in the same panel — no tab-switching to Magento’s own product edit screen.

  • Completeness rules configurable per Attribute Set
  • Category assignment, media gallery, and attributes in one accordion
  • Export a CSV of every gap, for a bulk content sprint

03 — CATEGORIES

A category tree you can actually rearrange.

Three panels, one screen: the tree, the selected category’s own product grid, and its subcategories. Drag a category to reorder it, drag a product onto a category to assign it, and bulk-remove selections — all queued safely through the same background-job pipeline as everything else.

  • Drag-and-drop reorder, scoped to siblings
  • A real product grid per category, not just a count
  • Attach or detach products straight from the product edit screen too

04 — AUDIT TRAIL

Every attribute change, kept — old value, new value, who, when.

Catalog-wide or per product, SourcePIM logs every attribute write it makes. Filter by SKU, admin, or date range, and export what you find. When a price looks wrong on a Friday afternoon, you don’t have to guess who touched it.

  • Filterable by SKU, admin user, and date range
  • Old → new value on every row, exportable to CSV
  • Backed by the same event this module’s own recalculation listens for

Under the hood

Built for a catalog that changes constantly, not just once.

Bulk operations run as background jobs, not blocking requests — reorder a thousand-product category or recalculate every completeness score, and keep working while it finishes.

Queued

Jobs, tracked to completion

Every bulk operation — category moves, completeness recalculation — gets a job record you can filter by status, type, and admin, with succeeded/failed counts.

Configurable

One Settings screen, scoped by store

Default landing page, completeness rules, grid defaults, and image rotation — one screen, with a store-view selector for the settings that need it.

Native

The same Magento underneath

No parallel catalog, no sync job, no second source of truth. SourcePIM reads and writes the same `catalog_product_entity` your storefront already serves from.

05 — JOBS

Background work you can actually see finish.

A queued category move or a catalog-wide completeness recalculation doesn’t block the admin — it runs as a job, and this screen tells you when it’s done, and whether anything failed.

06 — SETTINGS

Configured once, not fought with every visit.

A dedicated Settings screen — not a native Magento config page bolted on — covers completeness rules, grid defaults, startup page, and image rotation, with per–Store View overrides where they make sense.
